Book Clubs

Adult Book Club (18+)
Second Friday of every month, 7:30-9pm

We will be meeting for March Book Club on Friday 12th March, 7:30pm to discuss Tell Me Lies by J.P. Pomare. To those interested in coming along, it is free to join - all we ask is that you help support our little bookshop by buying your book from us. Members receive 10% off book club books. If you haven't been before, feel free to come along - we're always happy to welcome new members! Snacks and wine are provided :)

Follow us on Facebook or join our Facebook group for more info.

Pensioners & senior citizens, please get in touch if you would like to join and feel you are unable to purchase the book every month - we are happy to come to an arrangement to make the meetings more financially accessible.

Middle Grade Book Club - Unicorns & Dragons Alliance (Ages 9-12)
First Wednesday of the month during school term one, 4-5pm (See recurring Facebook event for exact dates)

Every month, book club members meet to chat about books. This is a great after-school activity for upper primary kids aged 9-12 looking to learn about new books, take part in fun activities, and make new friends outside of school!

Cost is $30/term per child. Members receive 15% off all book club books. Book club members also receive discounted tickets to certain workshops hosted in the store. As part of our club, we do ask that you help support our little shop by buying the books from us.

MG Book Club is currently full for 2021.

Junior & Young Adult Book Clubs (2021)

Junior Book Club (ages 7-9) will be starting in Term Two, 2021 - parents who put their child's name down for JR Book Club will be contacted in the next month to confirm dates.

We have also received interest in Young Adult Book Club (13-16), however we are still a few members short of our minimum so please get in touch if your teen is interested in joining! Please note: as YA will be covering much more mature themes than the younger book clubs, parents will need to sign permission slips regarding book choices, however we will endeavour to choose 'clean teen' books (no excessive violence, gore or sex scenes, etc.)
